Hi, I very much enjoy your site - clear, concise and informative. However just wondered what had happened to the sea temperatures as they haven't been posted for several days. I'm keenly awaiting them to reach 11C when I think it may just about be warm enough to take my first dip in the sea! Thanks. | ||

Thanks A1steve It's been interesting finding out the inshore sea temperatures, I've been using a digital thermometer on ebb tides every day so far this year. (east beach) I take three readings to get an average, Ive found it to be colder on the east side of the beach by the rocks each time. The offshore sea temperature today is reported to be 6°C but the inshore sea temperature is 1.9°C. Just shows how cold our inshore waters are. Thanks and all the best from Barry admin NR26.com |

Hi Barry. Hope you are well! Where and how is the sea temperature taken. I know the near-shore and off-shore temperatures will differ and near-shore will fluctuate with swell and wind. Feel free to use any info of my A1surf site on your site. |
